Next week Christian is building a lugged steel road frame and Gauthier is building a TIG steel road frame.

Woitek: Titanium class complete
Woitek made the final touches on his frame, the cable stops and the reaming and facing of BB, HT, ST. We fitted some parts on it for a test ride and took the final "I did it !" picture for the record. The bike came out very nice, quick steering, fun to handle, it reminds me of the good old BMX days. I'm starting to question why on earth did we abandon these bikes to the 90's ? Steel is real (and Ti too btw), but rigid bikes rule !

Woitek a mis les dernières touches a son cadre, les arrêts de gaine puis le fraisage/alésage du BB, HT et ST. On y a monté des composants pour faire un test et prendre une photo souvenir. Le vélo est très joueur, vif, répondant et agile, ça me rappelle au bon temps du BMX. Je me demande pourquoi on a abandonné les vélos rigides aux années 90 ? "Steel is real" (le titane aussi en passant), mais les VTT rigides déchirent !
