Back to work with 2 titanium bikes, it's gonna be a hot summer of welding.

This week Thierry and Tommaso were here to build their own steel touring frames. Thierry added a fork to it, just to make it that little bit more challenging. Well done to both of you and thank you for this great week of TIG welding.
Cette semaine Thierry et Tommaso sont venus construire leur cadre de rando en acier. Thierry y a ajouté une fourche pour pimenter le tout. Bravo et merci a tous les deux pour cette semaine de soudure TIG sans répit.
Turning a JD2 into a mandrel bender
Today I modified my JD2 model 3 bender to turn it into a manual mandrel bender, for thin wall 3" CLR bending of 7/8"x0.035" titanium chainstay tubing. It works really well and with just little modification.
Aujourd'hui j'ai modifié ma cintreuse JD2 en cintreuse a mandrin manuelle pour pouvoir cintrer des tubes titane de 22.2 x 0.9mm d'épais sur un rayon de courbure de 3". Ca marche bien et sans trop de modifications.
